Hotel Bagasi Manzanillo

The mattresses were hard, and we got just one towel each. The double bed left hardly any room to move, though the king bed was okay. We had asked for three beds and an ocean-view balcony, but got a two-bed, two-bath suite with a small balcony. Both bedroom AC units sat on the balcony and made it so hot that enjoying the view was impossible. We asked to move the next day. The other setup had two twin beds in one room and a king in the other, but the AC in the twin room didn't work and they said they couldn't fix it. Staff did try to help. We were on a tight budget, but I wouldn't come back.

The room smelled like sewage outside, and I started feeling unwell. I also noticed things missing from my suitcases after some hotel employees came into the room. The bedsheets had hair and a disgusting bandage on them, the toilet had no seat, and the faucets, floors, and walls were dirty. I wouldn't trust this place with my belongings, and my phone got a virus after I plugged it in. Avoid this hotel.

I booked three weeks ahead, but when I arrived the room wasn't ready. They also told me to park on the street, even though the website clearly said the property had private on-site parking. Now I'm dealing with customer service and trying not to be charged for a stay I couldn't use. The receptionist had a really bad attitude. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, and the hotel has WiFi. The pool was nice too, with a good view of the sea. A nice place to stay.
