The kitchen is shared, and people take food from the fridge that isn't theirs. At the laundry room, the manager doesn't know what to charge and lets you choose the price, which is honestly more than an outside laundromat. Cleaning is terrible, the internet is the slowest I've ever had, and the air conditioners are ancient and incredibly loud. The front door is always unlocked, with no access control, so you can't tell who works there and who doesn't.

The Sailfish Monument is right across the street, with all kinds of shops and services around for enjoying the day. The price and location are excellent. Rooms have hot water, TV, a minibar, and quiet, very new air conditioning, plus there's a shared kitchen for guests. The furnishings are tasteful, and the small staff are attentive.

The internet barely works, and the kitchen was a mess: greasy sticky surfaces, stains on the floor, a black crust on the dish rack, and no cutlery or glasses to be found. A cockroach lay on the floor for two days while the cleaning staff walked right past it on their way to get food, seemingly unconcerned. They need to take cleaning seriously. It’s a shame the staff on site seem to have other priorities besides their work. The facilities themselves are fine, but cleanliness didn't seem to matter to either the administrative or cleaning staff. My room and bathroom were dirty when I arrived, and I asked three times for them to be cleaned during my week there. On the first visit, they made the bed half-heartedly and swept superficially, leaving other people's glasses under the beds. The next time I specifically asked them to do the bathroom because the toilet already had stains when we arrived. Nothing was cleaned, and the beds weren't made. On my third request, I pointed out the dirt under the beds and in the bathroom. They made the bed and took away the glasses, but left the other dirt under the bed. In the bathroom, all they did was take out the trash.
