Hotel Marbella

We keep coming back, and the place has been upgraded and looked after over the years. The rooms are great, with nice beds, A/C, towels, and bathrooms. We had a second-floor room with a patio view of the beach. There’s also a pool and a restaurant where breakfast is still amazing. Boat trips cost extra; we’ve taken one before, and it was nice to see the area by boat and stop to swim. You’re right in front of the beach, with lots of restaurants nearby as well as a casino, stores, and a cinema. Prices seem reasonable to me. If you know the area, some other hotels have free night shows or a dance club, and may include meals and alcohol. Still, we’ve enjoyed this place for years, especially for the price. I can’t complain.

The restaurant food is amazing, and the beach is such a relaxing spot. Simple place, but beautiful.

The staff are great, but the location is awful because the beach isn’t safe to use. The rooms are clean, though rusty and outdated, and they look nothing like the pictures. The towels are very old and torn. They try to charge for every little thing, which I can usually accept, but not when the building is in such bad shape and falling apart.

Good price for a place that’s clean around the pool, with good parking and an active security guard. The rooms feel dated, though, and there’s quite a bit of black mold in the bathroom, probably from poor air circulation. A working ventilation fan would help. The walls are thin, so sound carries easily. Hopefully your neighbors are quiet, or you are for their sake.
