The villas have full kitchens stocked with everything you need for a short or longer stay, and they're Spanish style. The setting and bay views are beautiful. There are two nice pools, plus a simple restaurant where the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Getting there is a short, fun little adventure. The road winds along the jungle, then an avenue of bougainvillea leads to Palma Real. The restaurant sits up the hill and has plenty of parking. We keep coming back, multos anos now. The view is fantastic, the food is savory, portions are generous, and the service is personal. Prices are very reasonable, and the drinks are superb too. Have I mentioned Saul's Especiale Margaritas? Go once and you'll return!

The grounds and views are lovely, and brunch is a set price with plenty to choose from. It reliably starts with fresh fruit, fresh OJ, and hot coffee.

The rooms are comfortable and attractive. Getting to this hotel is difficult, but that does make for a nice private stay. Breakfast is decent, though they could improve the coffee.
