Casa Angeles

The church across the street is beautiful, and the staff were so polite and happy to answer questions. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The bells woke me at 6 a.m., though, which caught me off guard since I hadn't realized they'd be our alarm clock. I'd stay again, but I'd use the earplugs provided in the room next time.

I booked the private loft above the bar, which had its own entrance. Just keep in mind that children under 12 aren't allowed. The service was good, and everyone was very nice, so I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit. The hotel is right by the town Plaza, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. It's a huge house, kept very clean, and there's a shared lounge where guests can watch TV or read. WiFi was fast and reliable. The updated room had a quality bed, soft pillows, good bedding and blackout curtains, plus AC and a modern ceiling fan. Those are a real bonus in a small town like Mascota. The bathroom was modern, with strong water pressure, lots of hot water, soft clean towels, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There was also a large-screen TV with Sky TV, similar to DirecTV in the States.

Super hotel.

We stayed at Casa Ángeles for the weekend of the difficult events in Jalisco on February 22 and 23, 2026. The owners offered us a substantial discount for the two days we had to remain at the hotel because of what was happening in town, and we're very grateful. Daniel and Said on staff were kind and attentive throughout those difficult days. They really rose to the occasion, and I want to congratulate them. The facilities were excellent and the service impeccable. For us, Casa Ángeles is the best hotel option in Mascota, and we'd choose it again when visiting.
