Hotel Villa Cantabria

There was no Wi-Fi in our unit, #9, and the kitchenette had no pots or pans. The lighting and amenities were poor, we saw lots of spiders, and the property is about 15 minutes from town by car. On the plus side, the view, pool, gardens, roomy cabin, and quaint feel were nice. We stayed on December 26, 2025, and the experience was just okay, nothing memorable or enjoyable. Payment was cash-only, we weren’t given a receipt, and no one checked our passports. The attendant initially didn’t give us a cabin key, saying our belongings were safe and no one would enter. I insisted and eventually got one. Our next-door guests played loud music and had a bonfire past 2:30 a.m. At 2:40 a.m. I’m writing this while wide awake, with them still chatting outside my unit. There was no night attendant or security patrol. This place seems better suited to local visitors than foreigners.
