Hostal Perla Mazatlan

It’s easy to walk to lots of places from here, and the room was very clean. The price was really good for this location. The owners were so friendly, polite, and helpful. As a tourist I had lots of questions about getting around, and their help made it much easier. I truly recommend staying here.

There’s no breakfast included, but the kitchen is great for making your own. Our room was tidy and clean, with hot showers, and the view of the church is beautiful when the lights come on at night. It’s in a nice neighborhood with a square. We were traveling by bicycle or motorcycle and could park inside the hotel, in a room right next to our vehicles. Car parking is on the street.

The kitchen terrace is a huge plus, and just about everything I needed was within walking distance. There’s no parking, but they let me leave my bike in the lobby. The room was nice and spacious. There is hot water, you just have to let it run.

The building has nice character, and I liked the shared kitchen space. I met some good people there. My yellow room was a little grubby, though. Good value, but the guy in charge was rarely around and seemed evasive.
