At first, the price and availability I got over the phone sounded fine. At the front desk, though, the price was suddenly much higher. I told the older gentleman at reception that I'd reserved at a lower rate, but he said there was no record and insisted he knew the prices. When I mentioned speaking with a young woman, he sarcastically said, “I'm the only young lady here.” I asked him to call the manager, and after that call, my price was suddenly correct. It felt like a bunch of thieves. They charge like a four-star hotel, but it's a one-star place, maybe two. Stay away and spend the extra 100 pesos on a better hotel.

The rooms are nice and the hotel is decent, even though the location isn't very convenient. What bothered me was breakfast. I had been given a bracelet for a free breakfast at check-in, but the breakfast staff still insisted I owed 30 pesos, about 2 USD, and were serious about collecting it. That felt out of place for a resort hotel.

The beach view is pretty, the bathrooms were clean, and there's parking and a swimming pool. The beds could be better, but they were fine. A nice place to stay.
