The staff made us feel welcome right from arrival. The smiling señoras took great care of what we needed, and that made the stay for us. The hotel was super clean, the shower was hot, and the shared spaces had lovely decor and furniture. Inside, it's bright and beautiful. We were there just one night during a layover in Mazatlán, and the location by the Malecón was perfect value for us. You can walk to the beach and historic centre, with lots of places to eat and tiendas nearby. I think they're still remodeling under the new management, but we'd absolutely stay again.

Be careful. I deposited $7,000 for a room reservation after being tricked into doing so. Someone named Olga put the money into Joel Gómez's account because our group was traveling together. About a month later, they contacted me and said they were renting that hotel, but their contract had expired, so they wanted to move us to the Zona Dorada Inn Mazatlan. I read the bad reviews and asked for my money back. They said the refund would be processed the next day, but they haven't answered my calls since. I keep trying and get nothing. Don't let the same thing happen to you.

The location is great and the staff were wonderful. The rooms are under maintenance, but they're acceptable. A very good place to stay.
