Marina del Rey Beach Club

I'm an owner and need to speak with management about a payment, but no one answers the phone. Claudia Gonzalez, the Sales Manager, has a disconnected number. Does anyone have a working one? We sent our 2020 payment in December, and they still haven't cashed the check.

I bought a unit at Marina Del Rey because the place seemed right for us. Back then it sat at the far north end of the Golden Zone, away from heavy traffic and noise. We liked the more traditional Mexican atmosphere and decor, even the slightly "third world" amenities. It's too bad management hasn't kept that feel alive. Now the property has deteriorated so much that a carefree vacation is hard, maybe impossible. The on-site restaurant has closed, the phone system is gone, and you can't even call another room or the front desk. Furnishings, supplies, and utensils have worn down. The jacuzzis and toilets don't work, the air conditioners are worn out or broken, and there's pigeon waste on balconies. Some furnishings and deck furniture are broken or missing. Water pressure is low or nonexistent, the beds feel like granite, and the pillows are like bags of coconuts. Management refuses to deal with these complaints but still expects maintenance fees for every week of use. Pay late and the penalty is three to four times the fee. Selling your contract brings a transfer charge of nearly $1,000 USD. The photos aren't a fair picture of what you get. The actual furnishings are broken, dingy, and dirty. The staff do a good job with the unit maintenance, considering what they're given to work with, and they're wonderful, one of the few good things left. Don't spend your time or money here. I wouldn't consider buying anything from them, and I wouldn't trust what management tells you. Their word is worth nothing.

I haven't been able to get a reply to my emails. They don't answer them, so I can see what the problem is.
