Casa Ekinox

I spent two weeks here in April and really enjoyed the stay. It was quiet, and I got the rest I needed. My room had a terrace where I could watch a beautiful sunset. The center is about a 45-minute walk, which suited me since I like walking and got to explore more that way. Getting an Uber was easy.

The host kept up with my messages and was attentive throughout my three-day stay. The house is roomy, and my clean room had plenty of space and a good-sized bathroom. I also had Wi-Fi and a coffee maker, and was pleasantly surprised to find a Netflix account in each room. A great option in Mérida.

Getting around from here was easy and the area felt very safe, even though it’s a little way from the city center. The room was comfortable, and the remote service was excellent. Check-in is self-service. The only small drawback was a bit of noise whenever the taps were turned on, possibly from the plumbing.

Very good value, and I’d gladly return as soon as I can. The location is great, and the rooms are really spacious with nice touches. Each one has its own bathroom, plus a safe, mini fridge, coffee maker, AC, hair dryer, and TV. Some rooms have lovely terraces, though they were occupied during my stay.
