The room Wi-Fi wasn’t good, and there were a few small things I wished the hotel had provided: more hangers than the three we got, extra face towels, four pillows, a thicker blanket, cups in the room, and a hot water kettle for each room instead of just one for the whole hotel. Still, the staff were friendly, breakfast was good and included for us, and there was purified water in the lobby. It’s a boutique-sized hotel with a small pool, in a great location. We had a large room with a king bed and AC. Parking cost $10 a day and was a five-minute walk away. The place felt more like three stars than four.

It’s a cute, fairly central hotel, but I wouldn’t pay extra for the room with a pool. The so-called private pool was really just an empty bathtub with cold water. The main pool wasn’t heated either, and was freezing.

We stayed in room number 2, and everything worked perfectly. It was quiet, with blackout rooms that made for great sleep. The room service was amazing and the shower had excellent pressure. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but the antique interior was lovely and it was great value for money.

Our booked room wasn’t available on the first night, so we got downgraded. They initially offered only two free drinks as compensation. After discussing it, we at least managed to get two nights of free parking.
