Refugio del Mar

The staff at Refugio Del Mar made a really stressful family situation much easier. When my father needed unexpected surgery at the nearby hospital during our vacation, we ended up staying much longer than planned while he recovered. The team was understanding about our uncertain dates and went out of their way to keep us comfortable. They also shared helpful suggestions for places to eat and shop, and made us feel at home. We're so grateful to them and highly recommend the place. The property was peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable, which made it a good place to rest and recover. Our accommodations were excellent, with clean, well-appointed rooms. Having a washer and dryer in our unit was especially useful during the extended stay. We could also walk to lots of good restaurants and the water, with an excellent cafe right across the street.

The family-run service really stood out. Their passion comes through in the recommendations, and they take care of the little details that help make a stay relaxing. We spent five nights here and found the rooms very clean and spacious, especially the bathrooms. The location was nice too, near the beach but still quiet and tucked away. It was perfect for us.

We only got here for the first time two weeks ago, but I already want to return to Mexico and have that experience again. I enjoyed wandering around the different shop stalls, and it felt like a very safe area. There's lots of food nearby, including a great restaurant just across the road, and the beach is about five minutes away. We didn't need a car at all. The cleaning staff were welcoming and nice.
