The hotel is showing its age, but the staff were all pleasant, helpful, and absolutely wonderful. The room was a decent size, the beds very comfortable, and the small pool was great for cooling off. Breakfast was very good and a big plus to start the day. It's also in a great spot, close to very good restaurants. I highly recommend it.

What a letdown. The pool stayed unavailable our whole visit, even though we were repeatedly told it would be open in the morning. The rooms were okay, but a bit tired. Breakfast was very poor, with shop-bought pancakes and juice that was actually squash. We also spotted a cockroach by the stairs.

We paid extra for a King suite we wanted, but it wasn't available. The pool was filthy, with clumps floating in it, and the bench at the 4-foot edge had torn, worn edges. We visit many years, but can't come back. The listing offered a pool, yet no compensation was given for not being able to use it. Ugh.

The staff were fantastic, and the pool, though a little small, felt great after a hot day out. The hotel was quiet and the rooms were huge. I'd pick a bigger room, it's worth it. Restaurants, bars, and the city center were all just a few minutes away on foot. One of the better hotels we've stayed in while in Mexico.
