I come back to this hotel whenever I visit Merida because the service is great and the food is a good option. My only complaints are that the pool has sometimes been dirty, and the gym they advertise is just a treadmill that hasn’t worked for over a year.

The continental breakfast was just breads, apples, two kinds of cereal, juice, milk, and coffee. It was okay, and there’s a restaurant where you can order extra breakfast items, but service is very slow, so don’t order if you’re in a hurry. We liked the stay enough to add another night, and I’m glad we chose this hotel even though I didn’t recognize the brand at first. The room was spacious, with a lovely balcony and a huge bathroom with a large tub. The beds were comfy, the AC worked really well, and the pool area was beautiful. Uber and Uber Eats also serve the area, which was convenient.

To the owner: this is a two-star hotel. The restaurant isn’t operating. Breakfast is dry rolls and coffee, cereal, and old fruit. The elevator is broken, there’s no airport shuttle, and I wouldn’t call the place nice.

The place itself was enjoyable. Service and food were good, the rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. The location isn’t great, but it works well enough. It’s near the beach.
