Hotel Real Toledo by Kavia

The location is great, right in the center of Merida and within walking distance of whatever you might want. There's lively nightlife with singing, dancing, and music, along with beautiful shopping areas and architecture. Service was very good.

The location is really good, but I can't recommend staying here, especially for the price. Even in the superior room, there was no natural light and it felt too dark. The hotel was loud enough that we could hear the neighbors showering. Breakfast wasn't good, and the breakfast area was really dirty. The pool was dirty too, with hair floating in it.

The central square is close by, and the location was excellent. I really liked the large rooms and my comfortable king-size bed. Breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful. People seemed to enjoy cooling off in the pool, too.

The rooms are big and have A/C, and there's private parking nearby. The breakfast buffet is basic, but you can also order fruit, an omelette, or eggs from the kitchen, which were really, really good. Everyone on staff was super kind, and the hotel is near the city center. We had a positive stay in this cozy place. Soundproofing isn't great, especially when someone talks loudly at night.
