I prebooked, but the room looked nothing like the photos and seemed as if someone had already used it. There were long hairs on the pillows, and the room looked unfinished. People talked in the corridors all night and into the early morning, and some strange loud clicking kept coming from somewhere in the room. I couldn’t sleep, so I got up and left at 3:30 in the morning. That was a mistake I won’t make again.

The website says it’s pet friendly, but it isn’t.

We were seven people passing through Mérida and stayed just one night. For the price and the central location, it worked well enough for us. The building is old and clearly needs upkeep, though. The toilet chain was broken, so flushing meant reaching inside, and the cleanliness was disappointing. The photos on the apps made the hotel look quite different. It needs a lot of work, especially on cleanliness. ☹️☹️
