La Muralla Hotel & Spa

The included à la carte breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh coffee, fruit, yogurt, green or orange juice, and delicious Mexican-style dishes. The staff were consistently warm, and the restaurant also had tasty lunch and dinner options. We were on the fifth floor and had a beautiful view of the volcano. Our newly renovated suite was spacious, modern, and spotless, with a sofa bed, coffee table, desk and chair, plus another table with two chairs for a drink or snack. The shower had good pressure and temperature, and housekeeping kept everything clean each day. The minibar was empty when we arrived, but it can be filled on request. The location was convenient, and we had a wonderful stay at Hotel en Suites La Muralla, Metepec.

The included breakfast was delicious and served generously, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay, which exceeded what we expected. There are several places to visit nearby, and we’ll definitely come back. I’d recommend it.

The buffet breakfast was good, with very tasty food. The general staff were helpful, and we always made sure to tip them for their service. The bed felt a little hard to me, though I liked it, while my wife didn’t have the same experience. Service was excellent apart from the breakfast staff seeming to look for cash tips throughout our visits. I felt the general staff should receive the greatest benefit for their work. It’s a really nice hotel, and I recommend it.

The hot tub was cold, though it was supposed to be 28 C, and the beds were hard. The Wi-Fi was very slow, and despite what the pictures showed, there wasn’t a bathtub. The TV was giant. Overall, it was pretty good.
