Best Western Gran Marques

The price seemed fair, and I slept well in a comfortable bed. Check-in and check-out were right on time, which I appreciated. The rooms are quite nice, and the downstairs public restroom was spotless. The staff there were very pleasant too.

It was noisy at night, and breakfast amounted to coffee with nothing to eat. The towels were dirty, there was no hot water, and the TV didn't work. Its old remote had been put back together with clear tape. Staff said someone would come fix the TV, but I had to go to the front desk three or four times before anything was done. These things should have been working properly already.

I've always liked Best Western, but this place didn't have the usual feel or service. The rooms were freezing in winter, and the little heater they provided barely did anything. Front desk staff were petty and treated customers horribly. This is an old, awful hotel, and I won't come back.

I was happy with my stay, with no problems at all. The place was clean, quiet, and affordable, and breakfast was included. It's also close to Issemym, the hospital here in Toluca.
