Hotel Intercity Zapopan

It's just off the highway and a short walk from the bus stations, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. Check-in was quick and easy, and the woman at the desk was friendly and handled my paperwork fast. The rooms were clean and spacious, with two complimentary bottles of water and coffee.

For a reasonable price, this is a family-friendly place with a great location and good service. It includes plenty of amenities, including continental breakfast, laundry service, and a gym. I'd definitely come back if I had the chance.

We were there for two weeks, and the staff treated us with great respect the whole time. They did whatever they were allowed to provide, always with a smile, and tried to make the stay more comfortable. Breakfast is decent for what it is, and they don't rush you out when the time is up. The internet works great if you connect through the room's ethernet port. If your room key stops working, keep it away from your phone and anything magnetic. Those can damage the card's swipe strip and make it stop opening the door, so that's on you, NOT the hotel! We'll definitely stay here again.

The lobby restroom was dirty. When our group arrived to check in, they sent someone else to help us get through it quickly. We asked for a better room and got a pretty great one, but the key card failed to unlock my door several times.
