The location made getting around Guadalajara easy. Hotel Vista Express Guadalajara sits right across from Plaza del Sol, with tacos, restaurants, snacks, ice cream, and a large Soriana supermarket all within walking distance. There’s also an OXXO open around the clock on the corner, plus two pharmacies nearby, including a Farmacia Guadalajara that never closes. Two major avenues are close by, too. We slept well even though there’s a large intersection nearby, since the hotel is set back from it and stays quiet. Our room was clean and refreshed, with comfortable beds, remote controlled AC, smart TVs with IPTV and lots of channels, fast WiFi, blackout curtains, and good bathroom ventilation. Towels were changed regularly, and they refreshed our pillows during the stay as well. The people working there were wonderful. Reception was always ready to help, and the breakfast staff, maintenance crew who helped reset our room safe, and 24 hour security guards were all friendly and professional. Everyone we dealt with was kind, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast is included and has plenty of options: sandwiches, bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. It wasn’t the limited single choice some hotels offer, and we really appreciated that. We felt we got good value, and ended up extending our stay because we were so comfortable. I’d recommend Hotel Vista Express to anyone looking for a safe, clean, quiet hotel in a convenient spot with friendly staff and good amenities. We’ll stay here again.
