I booked through Airbnb, so payment was straightforward, and my host was very responsive. I stayed for a week in 802. The apartment itself was modern, very clean, and smelled lovely. I liked the decor and art, the hot water and Wi-Fi worked well, and the bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Entry felt very secure with a QR code and pin, and there was a guard on duty 24/7. During the week the surrounding area was very quiet, but Friday to Sunday brought a lot of noise. There were delinquents right outside the building playing very loud music, skateboarding, and using illegal substances. For anyone wanting to explore centro historico and take in the city’s vibe, the location is perfect. I’d stay again if it weren’t for the noise, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars.

Carso Alameda premium loft hotel is in a good location near the bellas artes museum, and it’s super clean. The owner is a very gentle and good person. 10 out of 10. Thanks, martin 😊

My Booking.com reservation says payment is due when I arrive, but now they’re asking for a 50% deposit to keep from canceling it and sent me a link. I’m worried it could be a scam.

The location was good, but I don’t recommend this place. The apartment was dusty and didn’t match its Booking.com description: it was listed as having two bedrooms, but was just a loft. The owner, a man named Martín Klime, kept us waiting for two hours. He has a very good rating on Booking.com, but with only 16 reviews, I think they’re all from the owners.

Avoid this hotel. The reservation was canceled 14 days before we were due to arrive, with the hotel saying the credit card wasn’t working, even though there was no prepayment required. I checked, and the hotel hadn’t even tried to charge the amount. I was put on hold on the phone while they canceled the reservation, and they never replied to my email. A total lack of respect.
