Casa Moctezuma

We spent a week at CM in February, four of us together, and it felt dreamy. The courtyard and rooms were great, and the staff were outstanding at every hour. We chose breakfast and were delighted by what was offered. In the heart of Coyocan, it's a quiet spot where you can walk everywhere, and Ubers are usually only a few minutes away. Highly recommend.

I came back for a week in March 2022, after staying here a few years earlier. It's in a lovely old mansion with a beautiful patio, and the rooms were comfortable. Each has a kitchenette with basic pots and pans, which is handy for cooking. The staff are friendly and helpful. You're two blocks from Coyoacan's main plaza and three from the market. The neighborhood feels safe, with quiet cobblestone streets and terrific cafes and restaurants. My favorite place to stay in Mexico City.

The rooms look a little dated, but the furniture and fixtures are good quality. Everything was extremely clean and well kept, and I slept comfortably in the bed. I also had my own outdoor seating area, and the kitchen was well stocked. Breakfasts were great, the staff were kind, and the service was excellent. Lovely space, and I'd absolutely stay again.

Antonio, the manager, was so kind and helpful, and the staff were friendly and spoke English. My boyfriend and I stayed in a loft room, where all the little details were cute and pretty, and it was very clean. Breakfast was traditional Mexican fare with exotic fruits like tuna (cactus fruit). The patio is gorgeous, and bikes are free to use. The gate is locked, with a man there around the clock. The location is perfect, right in Coyoacan and two blocks from the center. We'd love to come back.
