Dominion Polanco

The apartments had plenty of room and comfort, with a full kitchen and washer/dryer that made everyday life easier. The gym was much better than in most hotels I’ve stayed at. I spent almost two months at Dominion on a work trip with my family, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The staff were amazing, always friendly and ready to help. Big thanks to the whole team for making us feel so welcome. Definitely felt like a home away from home, and I highly recommend it for a Mexico City visit.

Most of the stay went well, but the ending was really disappointing. We left a package with the front desk, and two items were stolen from it: a wedding gift envelope and a very nice pair of sunglasses. Such a shame.

The Saturday fresh produce market right across the street was a nice bonus, and the metro is only about a five-minute walk away. I was in Mexico for a project and stayed at Dominion Polanco. The area felt pleasant and safe, with a lot of visible policing, though weekends got a little noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and knowing a bit of Spanish went a long way. Management spoke both English and Spanish. My room was comfortable and well kept, and there’s a heated pool, jacuzzi, and gym. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. Security is there 24/7, and they handled the earthquake alert evacuation during my stay very professionally.

The breakfast was a decent, basic start to the day, though I’d avoid arriving right when it opens since the small space gets busy. There’s also a TV on in the dining area, which wasn’t really our thing, though I can see others liking it. We had a huge two-bedroom suite, with a really great walk-in wardrobe. The kitchen had plenty of supplies, but some tools weren’t in great shape, like the knives, which were quite dull.
