The "Lupita" suite was cute and cozy, with a private patio. It was quite dark, so there wasn't much sunlight, but that made it good for sleeping. There's no A/C, though that's not really needed in CDMX, and they provided a fan. The virtual front desk replied quickly when I had questions. My four-star rating is about booking and payment. They charged my card right away, which I hadn't expected. The website needs to explain that much more clearly, and the wording arguably misleads. Other reviews suggest I'm not the only one who's had this issue. I also had to ask specifically for an email confirmation, which felt archaic. I'd recommend the place, but be aware they charge the full amount upfront.

Heads up, this place feels sketchy. I booked through an app like booking.com with the pay-later option, but they charged me upfront anyway. When I cancelled a few hours later, with months of free cancellation still available, they said the refund would only be processed “14 working days before the cancellation date.” I don't understand why they handle refunds that way, but it's a huge red flag for me and I wouldn't spend my money here. Alexa, the staff member I dealt with, was rude. The customer service I got when I explained what happened and asked for a refund was wild.

The location was excellent, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and we had an excellent stay overall. Our room was very clean, though a bit cramped, and the bed made some noise. WhatsApp service was good, but for a four-star hotel we would have preferred an in-person reception. Also, it's a walk-up on the first floor.

The area was beautiful and quiet, with Chapultepec train station and the park very close by. We found loads of great restaurants and natural wine bars within walking distance. The room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Service was amazing too, very attentive, and they gave us lots of recommendations for places to go. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Cafes, restaurants, bars, and the metro are all right nearby. Definitely recommend it!
