The rooftop terrace was my favorite, with a view across the whole city center, and the manager was lovely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Casa Índigo is a beautifully restored Art Deco building in a peaceful neighborhood that’s still central. It felt like a home away from home, a real base for me. I’ll come back and stay longer next time.

We had the whole house and loved it. The bedrooms were great, the bathrooms were clean, and getting into the city was easy. The stairs are cramped, which was the only real downside, but it wasn’t a big deal. 9/10.

It was so peaceful while I was there, and I’d strongly recommend it. Salvador was really nice when he met me at 10pm, gave me a full tour, and checked that the shower had hot water before leaving. I had to head out early for a tour, so I didn’t get to enjoy the courtyard in daylight.

We spent about two hours waiting outside Casa Indigo and never stayed there. I wish the owner hadn’t offered the room on Airbnb if it wasn’t available, or had at least declined the booking. The Hostal may be nice, but the neighborhood felt really sketchy, with police all over.

It’s a quiet place, though it’s basically a shared Airbnb. There’s no view from the first two floors, and getting to the higher ones means climbing narrow metal stairs.
