They gave me a taxi price when I checked in for the airport ride, and the morning receptionist confirmed it. But once the taxi arrived, they suddenly wanted to charge double, taking advantage of the fact I needed to catch a flight. I also asked for a wake-up call because I had an early flight, but the receptionist was asleep and forgot. Luckily, I had set my own alarm. Avoid this hotel.

The room was lovely, and the service was 10-star. The location was great too, with amazing restaurants just a short walk away. Thank you.

It's a great location, and the room was clean, though tired. The staff were friendly, and some spoke English, but even with someone at the desk around the clock, sorting out problems wasn't their strength. After 30 hours of travel, I really needed a hot shower, but at first there was only cold water. Some days it was hot, other days just warm. I called reception and was told someone would come in five minutes, but after 30 minutes I went down to follow up. Eventually a guy came to check the shower and fix the broken sink plug. He showed me how to use the AC to warm the room while the cold shower was running. With Google Translate, we figured out that the shower temperature was the actual problem. He fixed the sink plug lever with electrical tape and suggested running the shower for ten minutes before getting in. Maybe I'm unfamiliar with the standards here, since it was my first time in Mexico.

The location was great for attractions, restaurants, and street vendors, and the staff were friendly. The room could use better toilet paper, a refillable water bottle, cups, and a garbage bin.
