The building itself is beautiful, but the rooms look dated and feel more like a Motel 6. The beds are typical for hotels in Mexico. Service was good. Our stay included a free lunch with a sandwich, coffee, and fruit or orange juice, and the food was fine. You can pay 10 bucks extra for the buffet, or order a la carte.

I was disappointed by the care and service. The butler was helpful when we arrived, but the four receptionists were playing and recording themselves while I waited for them to finish. I asked someone to check the lamps I couldn't turn on, and I'm still waiting. Guests next door were yelling and slamming doors; when I called reception, the answering machine said to try again later. They were quick to recite guest policies. I wish they'd pay attention to work policies too.

We were curious because the hotel looked so beautiful from outside, so we went in to visit. It really is a beautiful hotel.

The room was miserable, with constant street noise that made it hard to rest. The breakfast they say is included was just a dried out sandwich, weak coffee, and spoiled fruit. For anything like a proper meal, they wanted another 180p, which hardly feels like included breakfast. Even Holiday Inn budget chains seem more honest and comfortable. This place feels like it cuts corners and misleads guests. I'd avoid it.
