What mattered most to me was how the team looked after me after I fell in the street. They sent first aid staff to check that I was okay, took my blood pressure, and kept making sure I had food and was feeling well. Susana from concierge stayed closely involved throughout my time there, even going to get my medicine and bringing it to me. The man at the front entrance was just as quick to help and kept checking what I needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent service and a lovely interior. The staff were always ready to assist with anything. Plenty of five-star hotels have good design and food, but this one also has the kindest, most helpful staff I could ask for. I'd give it six stars if I could.

The staff made a great impression, especially the manager, who was professional and welcoming. I can't remember his name, but the customer service was top tier, and I'd happily stay here again. I booked the Premium Loft at Marquis Reforma through a third-party site. I think some of its photos showed a hot tub on the terrace, which my room didn't have. Even so, the room was luxurious, clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with everything I needed. The location is perfect.

I found the spa a great place to unwind after a full day in the city, with pools, a sauna, and a relaxing atmosphere. There are several places to eat, serving both Mexican and international food, and room service is reliable for a quiet night in. Marquis Reforma sits right on Paseo de la Reforma, making it a handy base for Mexico City. Chapultepec Park, museums, restaurants, and shops are all easy to reach on foot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional from check-in through departure, always ready to help or offer recommendations. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Junior Suites are especially roomy if you can spend a little more.

Breakfast was good, and everything we ordered through room service tasted delicious. But compared with the nearby St. Regis, Four Seasons, and Ritz-Carlton, this hotel looks much worse for a five-star place. Kids also aren't allowed in the pool. The building needs remodeling. The showers are old and worn, and the foyer feels like a good hotel from the 1980s. We have LHW Sterling level, but didn't get a welcome amenity or an upgrade.

The hotel has a handy location for getting to museums, shopping, Roma Norte, centro historical, and more. The service, restaurants, and accommodations were all excellent. We'd definitely come back.
