It was okay, though there was a strange sound near my room. Food was expensive. The hotel is close to a plaza and a bus stop, and the area seemed more local than gringo. Take a bus to the gringo area, where there are lots of tours and markets.

This is a beautiful, upscale property, and it was super clean with no roaches. The beds are absolutely comfortable, there’s air conditioning, and the staff is very helpful. My flight was canceled and the airport gave me a voucher for this hotel. I should’ve stayed here for my whole 10-day trip.

Definitely a 4-star hotel, and it beats the last hostel I stayed in. There’s a king-sized bed, room service with awesome local dishes, a pool with chaise lounges, a bar, and a cab stand. Local street food is all around the hotel. The concierge, housekeeping, and front desk staff were fantastic. Nothing to dislike!

Horrible service. I was waiting in line when the desk associate helped someone who’d just arrived, then helped two more people before I finally snapped at him. At 9:30 in the morning, the room attendant knocked to clean, even though checkout isn’t until noon. Wouldn’t recommend.

The buffet is highly recommended, and the staff provide excellent service. The rooms and treatment are fairly priced, making this an excellent place to stay. It’s a little far from the center, but you can ask them to get you a taxi. Fares are between 70 and 100 pesos, and TAXIS ONLY ACCEPT CASH.
