Hotel Colonial de Nogales

The room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were polite and professional. It had a fridge, microwave, two TVs, and a sofa. As an American, I did miss a few frills, but it wasn’t worth getting into. Great place, and I’d definitely stay again.

I had a blast at the colonial. It’s just off the main path but still very close, and I found the room much bigger and more relaxing than the one at Hotel Fry Marcos, where I’d stayed before. I honestly preferred this hotel.

It’s close to the border, which is convenient, but the price is too high for a dirty room and linens. The floor grout should be about the same color as the tiles, but it was black with dirt in many spots. We didn’t even want to walk barefoot. There were weird stains on the pillowcases and sheets, and a yellowish stain ran down the middle of the bed cover. Management needs to supervise the employees more often.

The receptionist was super rude and handled customers very unprofessionally. She didn’t understand what I was saying but kept repeating questions, and I got nowhere, so I left and stayed somewhere else. Even security said her rudeness was making the place lose a lot of clients. I used to go there regularly and rent two suites, but after that experience, never again.
