D'Cesar Hotel Acapulco

I left Acapulco after just one night because I didn’t feel safe or welcome. I’d booked six nights at D'Cesar Acapulco and asked for a partial refund because the hotel was nothing like the photos. They refused, saying it was “my personal decision” and “not their fault or problem.” Don’t book here. It felt like a big lie to take your money. The street nearby felt deserted and unsafe, beside a high-speed road with no lighting at night. The few restaurants close by didn’t look appealing and all shut by 6pm. Inside, the building was old and run down, the common areas were falling apart, and the pool was dirty. Most rooms apparently have no window or ventilation system. The photos online only show the few rooms with windows and outside access. My room was dark, dirty, and extremely humid. The bedsheets and towels were dirty when I arrived, and the water wasn’t working. I asked reception to move me, but the concierge wouldn’t listen and only fixed the water. The website pictures don’t show what this hotel is really like.
