The view was the only good thing. The sewage smell was unbearable for sleeping, and there’s no laundry service or breakfast. The receptionist wouldn’t help when I’d put the wrong check-in date and said the manager wasn’t available when I asked to speak to him. After I contacted booking.com, the manager suddenly showed up. He was nice and helped sort it out. I wish I could give them zero stars.

It’s within walking distance of lots of places we wanted to visit. I stayed there a number of years ago, and they took great care of us.

The location in central Mexico City is good. From the top of the building you can see Latino America Tour and the rooftop of Bellas Artes Museum. The staff are doing their best, but some rooms need more structural care to bring them up to a better standard. The place could use improvement overall. There’s a restaurant and bar on the ground floor for guests to enjoy.

The location is great, but the place is old and falling apart. The curtains are torn, there’s mold in the bathroom grout, and we only had one bath towel, no hand towels or washcloths. No fridge or coffee either, just the basics.
