We were excited about this place because the rooms look incredible and the area is charming, but we never got to stay. As other guests have mentioned, there isn't an employee or front desk agent on site, so you have to call when you arrive to check in. We expected that part, but not complete silence. We called and texted several times and heard nothing back. Fortunately, we found another place nearby at the last minute. Based on our experience, it's possible not to get checked in at all, so book at your own risk.

We absolutely loved our stay and would come back. The service was incredible, and the room had a huge bed, mini fridge, kitchenette, and a nice shower. There was also a charming little dining nook with a bistro table. Outside, a gated courtyard has a table where you can sit. The place has lots of history and a quaint feel, with modern amenities, plus a really great restaurant. Coyoacan central area is just a few blocks away.

Disgusting. We canceled as soon as we saw the rooms and asked for a full refund, but they wouldn't return the money. They ignored our calls and texts. It's a shame, because this property could be awesome, but it seems completely neglected by the caretakers. There was mold everywhere, the walls were falling apart, cleaning was poor, and customer service was terrible.

The building is a beautiful old convent near the centre of Coyoacan, but I didn't like the interior design of the larger suite I booked this time. The room felt a bit shabby, and for this price I expected hot water. The shower stayed ice cold. I won't return.

This was our first visit to Mexico, and we had an amazing time in Mexico City. The rooms and everything else looked just like the pictures, even more beautiful. We enjoyed a great breakfast in the patio garden, and the service was great. For me, the location was perfect for visiting Casa Azul, Frida Kahlo's house. Muchas gracias!
