The St. Regis Mexico City Hotel

I enjoyed my first solo night here so much that I brought my dad back the following week. The people are what make this place special, with the whole team making guests feel welcome and looked after. Bruno from concierge, Victor the butler, Victor and Arturo the guest services managers, Arturo at breakfast, Angel at the front desk, and Hugo and Juan in the King Cole Bar all deserve a shout-out. The property itself is beautiful, and the rooms and amenities are lovely. It's a real five-star experience, and I'm already looking forward to our next trip. Highly recommend!

The terrace was the highlight of my evening at The St. Regis Mexico City. With the city spread out below, the setting felt elegant but still relaxing. I had María Tinto wine with beautifully presented food, and both the cuisine and wine were excellent. Everything seemed carefully prepared, and the service stayed attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout. A memorable Mexico City meal with lovely views.

My favorite part of the room was probably the sectional sofa, where I could sit with the coffee they brought and read or catch up on email away from the desk. The room felt like home, and the bedding and pillows were wonderful. Each morning, the steam shower and rain shower head felt like a little reset. We were well looked after from the start. Rosa checked us in, Enrique showed us to our floor, and our night butler Victor explained how everything worked. Butlers can arrange reservations, bring coffee or tea, unpack luggage, or press clothes on request, all through an easy WhatsApp system. Kingcole Bar serves breakfast and is also a good place for a nightcap. I usually prefer a vodka martini with a twist, but we heard each Saint Regis has its own Bloody Mary recipe, adapted with locally sourced ingredients. There's a beautiful book about them, the Saint Regis Bloody Mary book, that I'd love to add to my husband's growing cookbook collection. On the 15th floor, there's a pool overlooking the city, with a weight room on one side and cardio equipment on the other. I also had a wonderful experience at The St. Regis Spa. Dulce-Maria gave me a 45 minute bamboo deep tissue massage, and she's both powerful and healing. Afterwards, the staff surprised me with a handwritten note and a beautifully made chocolate fudge cake. The flowers throughout the hotel are always so thoughtfully arranged. We really appreciated the hard working staff and their kind, graceful care. We'll call this home when we're back at St Regis next month.

For a birthday stay, I was touched that people across the hotel recognized me by name and wished me a happy birthday. Even the valet knew me. Victor winkler, the Guest relation manager, is superb, and Cesar in the restaurant was engaging and accommodating. The location, amenities, restaurants, and service are all hard to beat. Stay here if you're after luxury, great service, and a beautiful room.
