Rea at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and the building itself was OK. The location wasn’t as good as other parts of Polanco, though security seemed fine. There was no AC in the living room, where the sun came in strongly, and the toilet pressure was too low. It kept causing problems, and nobody seemed to know how to clear it. I left after one night. This was a last-minute booking through UTOPIC Platon after they sold the room out from under me. I’m still waiting for the refund Rea promised, which we arranged before I left. I was later told by their HQ that they’d issued a credit, but there’s still NO REFUND. BEWARE! You should have my WhatsApp and email. Please get in touch about the promised refund. Thanks.

Everything I needed was there, and the spaces were clean, comfortable, and really nice. The location made it easy to get to the sights, attractions, restaurants, and shops. My host was quick to respond and helpful throughout, which made the stay as enjoyable as possible. I’d definitely recommend this rental for a Mexico City visit.

We stayed just one night in the two-bedroom apartment, and it worked well. The bedrooms had AC units that did the job. They also supplied earplugs, which came in handy since the car honking starts in the morning. Great place and location, and I’d come back.

The owners are stubborn and won’t take responsibility when things go wrong. They only gave us two towels and didn’t replace them. Our room also had no AC, and they blamed us for not checking whether it came with AC. Who thinks they need to check that? The pictures look nice, but don’t get fooled by them. I’d choose a hotel with AC and better service. Avoid this place at all costs. If zero stars were possible, I’d leave that.
