The rooftop pool and deck were a lovely place to relax in the sun and enjoy the views. Vuestro is a small boutique hotel with everything I needed, and it was a great base in CDMX, with plenty of fantastic restaurants within a 20 min walk. Cleanliness really stood out. The room and the whole hotel were spotless, unlike more expensive 5 star places I've stayed where I've found strands of hair in the room, bathroom, or on towels. The included breakfast was free and limited, but a nice extra. Service was excellent too. Ricardo was friendly and had a great attitude, and his English made things easier even though I speak good Spanish, since I didn't need my translator. The breakfast staff in the morning were always cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. Thanks, Neme, Erick, Rodrigo, and Daniel! I've visited CDMX many times, but this was my first stay at Vuestro, and I'm glad I chose it.

We came from North Carolina in the United States for my first trip to Mexico City, from 1-13-26 to 1-18-26. My boyfriend and I chose this hotel because of the photos, reviews, and its central location near everything. I wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday here, and they made the day special with a good cooked-to-order breakfast. The beds were especially comfortable, more so than what I usually get at hotels in the US. Customer service was great, and the hotel was clean and in a good spot. The food was good, but breakfast needs more choices. I'd come back, and for me it was a 4.5 stars.

The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean, which made the problems during our four-night stay all the more disappointing. We booked specifically for air conditioning, but it never worked properly. Staff came in several times to try to fix it, even late in the evening, and sleeping was uncomfortable. The shower water had a strong, unpleasant smell like sewage, and the odor lingered on our skin after showering. One night, the cleaners also didn’t replace the toilet paper, unfortunately the night I was unwell. They offered to move us for our last night. After several days of disruption, we didn’t want to pack up again for just one night. Later, the hotel declined to offer compensation and suggested only a “preferential rate” on a future stay. Since we live in England, that wasn’t much help. It’s a real shame, because the hotel itself is very nice, but we expected some gesture after all the problems.

The team at the Vuestro Hotel made our trip feel special. Diana and Ricardo were so kind and went out of their way to help throughout our stay. Diana helped us book restaurants, shared useful advice for getting around the city (Uber is best), and gave us tips for visiting the Frida Kahlo home. On our last morning, she surprised us with chocolate and bread. Such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spacious and well laid out, with lovely bed linens. Breakfast was made to order, and the staff were accommodating. I had scrambled eggs with veggies one morning, and they were the best eggs I’ve ever eaten. My one complaint is that the towels, wash cloths, and hand towels need replacing. The bath linens didn’t match the quality of the bed linens. The neighborhood was fantastic, and we had a wonderful time. Friends who’d visited Mexico City in the summer told us about this charming hotel, and we’re so glad we managed to book it.

We loved how easy the hotel made it to arrange our plans. They organized a hot air balloon trip over the Teotihuacán pyramids and our airport transportation. Since it was our first time in Mexico City, that convenience and extra sense of security meant a lot. The location was great for exploring on foot, with plenty of restaurants nearby and major sights like the Angel of Independence, Chapultepec Forest, and Chapultepec Castle within walking distance. Our room had air conditioning and a smart TV, and the hotel was clean, spacious, and felt safe. Staff buzz guests in after checking them on a Ring camera, and there’s overnight security too. Ricardo and Deanna greeted us warmly every day and were consistently courteous and helpful. They gave us dining recommendations and lent us an umbrella on rainy days. Each room has a bottle of filtered water, and the staff graciously refilled ours whenever we asked. Housekeeping cleaned daily. Fresh towels weren’t replaced automatically every day, but they were easy to get on request, which worked fine for us. The pool area was lovely and relaxing. The water isn’t heated, but it has bubbling features that made it enjoyable. Breakfast was included and delicious each morning, with Daniel and his team greeting us with a smile and providing excellent service. We had a very comfortable five-night stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend Vuestro Hotel.
