The pool was clean, and the hotel itself, rooms, and facilities were okay. My three-star rating is mainly because of the service. Internet was a major problem, and several guests, including me, had raised it with the front desk more than once. We were told it was a supplier issue and nothing could be done. One manager overheard us, came over to ask what was wrong, and called someone. At least she made an effort. The real problem was feeling ignored, with too little effort to help guests feel comfortable.

Hello, good afternoon. Could you send me today’s number? I’m going to the meeting today, but I can’t make it this morning because I’m going to school. I’ll give you the questions in the afternoons and on Thursday in September, and tomorrow for Friday. They’re letting me go to the bank today about the questions, and I don’t know what to do. This afternoon I’m going to the health center, and there’s the fee for this morning’s meeting. The rest is for you, my love, my heart’s love.

The hotel is in a very safe part of Monclova and has a nice atmosphere. It seems suited to families or couples. There’s a pool, good food, plenty of parking, and security at the entrance.

This is our first of three nights, and we still don’t have hot water. We’ve waited more than 40 minutes, while the receptionist keeps saying they’re working on it. The hotel is very empty at this time of year.

The room is spacious and nice, and I felt safe. The restaurant food is decent, but there’s no elevator.
