The hotel looks nice and the beds were comfortable, though small, especially the double beds in the suites. The location is great for Paseo Santa Lucia. Still, the place and breakfast could use work. There aren’t many breakfast choices, it doesn’t feel very welcoming, and it isn’t worth the money. Bring your own toiletries, there’s no soap or shampoo. Judge for yourself.

We were very happy with the clean room and spacious suite. The hotel is right across the street from Fundidora park, and the staff welcomed us as soon as we came in. The bell hop was eager to help with our bags. 10 out of 10!

The maintenance guys were kind and helped us out, and without them I don’t know what we would have done. The front desk didn’t seem to care when the A/C failed in the first two rooms they moved us to. It only worked in the third, and maintenance was supposedly being sent after I complained, but no one came. This trip was meant for my fiancé to ask for my hand in marriage. We thought we were set because the hotel was presented so well on Expedia, but it turned out to be a very unpleasant stay. At check-in, the man at the desk kept playing music on his phone or computer until he couldn’t hear me. The room was dirty, with hair all over the floor and feces on the toilet lid.

I spent five nights at the Antaris for an international event at the Cintermex complex across the road. It was the official congress hotel, and the location worked perfectly for the event. My room was quite clean. The shower pressure was very low, with no hot water, lukewarm at best. My room card stopped working twice. The staff were kind, but only one or two people at reception spoke English.
