The air conditioning worked well, the hot water was plentiful, and I didn’t see any bugs. There’s also an Oxxo right outside. Those were about the only things I liked. The room was dark and damp, with old, thin carpet, no mini fridge, and a view of a bare concrete wall. The surrounding area felt run-down and depressing. I paid $25 USD, and that was far too much for what I got. Breakfast cost extra and was a poor effort. The shower blasted so hard I thought it might strip my skin. There was no bedspread, just an extremely thin sheet, so I slept badly. And there were no proper sleeping pillows, only decorative shams that smelled sour and musty. I stuffed one into a T-shirt and sprayed it with cologne just to tolerate it. It was hard, bulky, and disgusting. I still remember that smell. I stayed one night and couldn’t wait to leave. I would never recommend this place. Looking back, I could have easily found somewhere clean on Airbnb with pillows and blankets for the same price or less. I hate leaving such a negative review, but that’s how it was for me. Avoid it.

There were roaches in the rooms. With those fees and that service, it just isn’t worth it.

The metro terminal is just a block away, which is handy, and the staff are friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was okay, though the choices were limited to chilaquiles and eggs. The area isn’t very nice, and the hotel is right beside the state jail, with a lot of police around. If you just need a safe place to sleep, it’s an okay option.

Speaking for Samantha Ridley and Tevin miles, I liked the hotel. The manager is really nice, and the cleaning staff always do their job, so our room stayed clean. Breakfast was very nice too. I also want to mention Nohemi at the front desk. She’s so nice, always translates for us, and helps with anything else we need.
