The parking lot was the one part that kept this from being a great value. Aside from that, I had a very good stay. The rooms are modern and simple, with outlets and USB ports placed where you need them, and the bathrooms feel cozy and up to date. Everything was very clean, from the linens and towels to the room itself. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the WiFi worked without issues, and all the staff were gentle and attentive.

We never got the towels we asked for, even after requesting them three times. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, the trash was still there, and dirty towels had been left in the closet. The room also felt musty. On top of that, the receptionists had an attitude and we didn't feel welcome. Parking costs 80 pesos a day.

There are convenience stores, a pharmacy, and fast food spots just a couple of minutes away on foot, plus money exchange nearby within about 1-5 minutes. Food carts around the hotel are another option. The area seemed safe, and the hotel is close to Monterrey's center at a reasonable price. Breakfast is included and has healthy choices. There is also a gym, and the receptionists speak English and are very helpful.

I felt like I was being targeted without any evidence. The shift manager was invited to come into the room and inspect it too, but they couldn't find anything wrong. Nobody apologized. They only said they would perfume the areas near the hallway. The administrative staff accused me of smoking in my room and disabled my key access, then tried to charge me 4-K MXN. When I first invited a staff member in to check the room, he refused. I travel for business and visit suppliers around the world, so I know and follow hotels' strict no-smoking rules.
