Holiday Inn Express Monterrey Galerias by IHG

The rooms are clean, good, and spacious, and breakfast is amazing. It's a cute hotel with a small outdoor pool. There were lots of repairs happening while I was there, so it's good that they're updating the place. The elevator broke during a super busy weekend. I understand that was beyond their control, but there was no ramp or alternative way to get between floors, which was really inconvenient. I have knee problems, and doing four flights of stairs two or three times a day for half my stay left my knees really sore and affected my mobility. I wonder what would have happened if a guest used a wheelchair. It would have been nice if staff had checked how this was affecting guests' stays.

I appreciate Mr. Clemente for providing very good service every time.

We were in Monterrey for surgery and felt comfortable here. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and Sr Clemente Serrano and the lovely señorita who cleaned our third-floor room really stood out. Sorry, I never got her name. The hotel could use some updates, and having a cafe on site would be nice. Thank you for a great stay.

The staff were polite, the rooms were clean, and breakfast had a different selection each day, which I appreciated. The location also worked well for the places I needed to get to. The door key was a pain, though, and took repeated fiddling before it would open the door. Worst of all was the train noise around 3 or 4 a.m. I barely slept during my stay.
