The location was amazing for us, and check-in was smooth and friendly. The receptionist gave us really good recommendations. Breakfast was also surprisingly good, and the woman at the live stations was kind and friendly. Still, the rooms were in really bad condition. Since we work in hospitality, we noticed the maintenance and cleaning problems, and even the alarm clock had the wrong time. There were no amenities or slippers, nothing extra. We had reserved a room with club lounge access, but the lounge wasn't available. They gave us breakfast instead, but this should have been communicated before we arrived. At night, we tried to order beer and were told they couldn't serve a drink unless we ordered a ribeye cut. Room service was awful. There was no minibar and just one bottle of water for two people. The experience didn't match the brand or price.

The koi pond and waterfall, with all the trees and plants in the lobby and bar area, made the hotel feel peaceful and welcoming. My room was clean and comfortable, the amenities were good, and the staff were professional and attentive. The location was convenient, with plenty of parking.

We'd gladly return for a vacation. The buffet breakfast had a generous spread with lots of choices, and the front desk staff were kind and efficient. Parking was conveniently covered and free. The location was excellent, and the view from the 9th floor was magnificent.

The hotel can be echoey, so noise might bother you if you're easily startled. Its location is handy, though: it's right by a park, close to some restaurants, and there's a passageway to the convention hall. It's also near both the start and finish lines of the Monterrey Marathon.

There's work going on at the hotel, but it's still a terrific place to stay. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and decently appointed. For my conference at Cintermex, the location was perfect, with restaurants nearby. Parque Fundidora is next door, too, which is great for relaxing or exercising. I'd stay here again if I came back to this part of Monterrey.
