I had a great time here. My room stayed quiet and really dark at night, and there was a variety of pillows. Reception was nice, easy, and straightforward, and it's a pretty good location with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. There's a 24h reception, a restaurant, bar, game room, and swimming pool. Sometimes a good hotel is just better. This one is great.

My experience was awful. The room stayed dirty even after it was changed 2 times. The ladies at the front desk tried their best, and customer service was fine. The hotel is very old and seems to have no maintenance. The a/c was loud and smelled horrible, and there was a musty odor. Sheets were super old and stained, covers dirty and full of hairs, towels old, plus a toilet leak. It felt like a nightmare. The downtown location isn't great either, not a very nice area. I definitely won't return. This is NOT a luxury hotel, no way.

This is only about the hotel, not the food. The room itself wasn't properly clean, the beds felt like rocks, and the wood floor was coming up. The shower took a hard yank on a stick to turn on, which was difficult for me because I have arthritis in my hands. Shampoo and conditioner kept falling when we tried to use them. The AC was on the side wall, and there was no ceiling light, so we had to leave the light by the door on to get some light in the room. We were meant to have the room for two days, but the front desk lost the reservation and wouldn't reactivate our key. My aunt had made the booking. We were told rooms should be ready at 3, but ours wasn't clean, so we got in at 5. My aunt's room wasn't ready until 6, after we'd already waited an extra hour. Later, when our key failed again, the receptionist questioned whether we'd booked two nights and asked for a receipt. My aunt had left it in her room with her laptop, but she wasn't allowed to go get it. She suggested several ways to sort it out, and the staff were rude and offered no help. I had to step in and email them the receipt she'd sent me. The staff also weren't very friendly or helpful in general, though a few did help us move our luggage. The next morning the regular elevators weren't working, so we had to use the service elevators, which felt claustrophobic. My main problem was the front desk and the poor communication between staff. I didn't have a good stay. If people come, I think it should be for the food, since the hotel has a bad reputation. The people making the food shouldn't have to suffer for the hotel's actions.

The staff were really friendly, and the bed was good and clean. The place feels a little old-fashioned, but it was still clean. The restaurant is very expensive.
