The room smell was terrible, and roaches crawled over us at night. The air conditioning didn’t work properly in either of the two rooms, and no one answered the phone during the night. Awful.

Maybe this place was good once, but the owners seem to have let it go. The rooms are dirty, the wallpaper is coming off, and it’s cold inside. The air conditioners are so noisy that sleeping with one on is impossible. The walls are thin enough that you hear everything from next door. I don’t recommend it.

There’s a mall a block away, and restaurants around the hotel. Padre Mier subway station is also just one block away. The rooms were clean and quiet, the location is great, and the price was good.

Housekeeping starts really early, and the noise can wake you if you’re still asleep. Otherwise, the beds are comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the hotel is downtown near lots of stores and businesses. The shower has both hot and cold water.

The place is filthy and smells so bad, bring a face mask. The elevator doesn’t work, and parking is public, so your car’s safety isn’t guaranteed. The environment feels very unsafe. At the front desk, staff seemed more focused on chatting with coworkers or talking on the phone than helping guests.
