The restaurant upstairs had outstanding city views, and the food was superb. After breakfast, I liked it enough to come back for dinner. One thing to watch for: the menu listed bavette with shrimp at 270 pesos, but the printed check charged 310, so check the bill for errors. The parking lot across from the house was extra convenient. My room was airy and spacious, with a thoughtful layout and a nicely renovated modern bathroom divided into shower, sink, and toilet areas. The furnishings fit the space well. The narrow house has lots of stairs, but its different levels, plants, and fountains give it charm. This was probably the best room of my three-week trip to Mexico. I could hear traffic from the minor highway in front of the property, at least from my street-facing bedroom. There isn't a nearby place for a nighttime walk, and the hotel is far from the city center, at least 20 minutes by Uber at night. Even with those drawbacks, I enjoyed my stay.

I only came for breakfast at the restaurant. The terrace was cozy and really nice, and the food and drinks tasted great. Still, everything arrived a bit cold, and service could be better with only one waitress on duty. A nice place to eat in Morelia.
