Very Good Featured review

I spent four nights here, including a weekend, and the hotel rented its small courtyard for a wedding. For about four hours, loud music carried through the whole building and gave me a headache. I raised the issue twice, but both times I only got an apology for the inconvenience, with no action to fix it. It felt like guest comfort came second to making money. I won't stay here again.

The old building still has its original shutter doors and woodwork, but everything feels very modern. The ceilings in the rooms are around 18 feet high. There's also a lovely rooftop for food and drinks.

The hotel is beautiful, but the noise made sleep impossible. My room felt like a nightclub, and I wouldn't recommend staying here because of it. Other reviews seem to mention the same problem.

We were given just three menus for our table of seven, and the food didn't live up to the prices. My steak arrived cold, I couldn't cut it with the butter knife they brought, and I even found a small bug. The boneless wings were probably the best thing we ate, which really surprised me. This was dinner, so breakfast or lunch may be different. I might come back for breakfast and rate that separately, but this visit was a bad experience.

The food was really good, and the place and location are beautiful, so I'd recommend it. The waiters, though, were unfriendly and rude to tourists. They got mad because I didn't leave a tip.
