A big thank you to the woman at the front desk on Wednesday night. Our driver cancelled at the last minute, and she found us great transportation for the next morning. She referred us to Arturo at Great Tours for a long-distance drive. He was professional and courteous, and we felt very safe. Thanks to everyone at Herencia and to Arturo! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and welcoming. The downside is the main street location: you hear everything, including music from the bars across the road. We were also disappointed by the restaurant food. They didn't have the usual Mexican cafe de olla or popular Mexican treats.

Parking was a huge help in a tricky spot. I was driving an F250 through Morelia's narrow streets, and the staff were both kind and professional. The room was immaculate. Looking forward to coming back with a smaller vehicle.

It's a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a rebuilt villa. Just keep in mind that being on the main street in the town center means it can get really loud on weekends and public holidays. The music gets so loud that soundproofing can't block it.

I stayed in a Junior Suite with a balcony, but the noise from a nearby club went on until about 4 AM and made a decent night's sleep impossible. Our air conditioning also quit working. When we told the staff, they said nothing could be done until another team arrived at 7 AM, which was very inconvenient. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future guests have a better stay.

The Junior Suite had the bathroom on the main floor and the bed in a loft, which I hadn't realized when I booked. The stairs were a problem for me at night, so they kindly moved us to a regular room with a balcony and beautiful views. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and both the air conditioning and shower pressure were excellent. The pancakes were the best I've ever had. You have to try them. I was completely satisfied with our stay.
