Gran Hotel Cantera La plaza

I've stayed here twice and both visits went well. Alejandro and Gabriel were attentive, and the prices are very fair for what you get. The hotel is on the third floor of the plaza. Rooms are modern and spacious, with a firm bed and lots of comfy pillows. Please keep supporting local businesses like Gran Hotel Cantera!

I've stayed at a few hotels, but this one tops them. People say it's clean, but that almost undersells it, the place is sparkling. My socks actually squeaked on the lovely floors! Even the towels felt nice and firm, which says a lot to me. I highly recommend it.

The room was very nice and clean, the food was great, the price was good and check-in was simple. The hotel is on the third floor, with an elevator that gets you there easily. The hotel itself deserves five stars, even though the entrance is a bit rough and the surrounding street is under repair. The property and nearby area are both going through renovations.

The bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean and in good condition, and the hotel was clean and looked very nice. I was very satisfied and plan to stay again on my next visit to Nuevo Laredo. A few small maintenance issues kept this from being five stars: one lamp was missing a bulb, the shower light didn't work, and the nice showerhead was clogged so water only dripped from its edges instead of spraying. These should be easy to fix.
