Irvin at Omaggio was wonderful at breakfast. He remembered our coffee orders and our kiddo’s food allergies, which meant a lot. By the pool near lemongrass, Jesus kept everyone happy with drinks for us and the kids’ nonstop requests. The food was really good, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Thanks to everyone at Marival for such a great trip. We love it there!

Omaggio’s buffet was a letdown for our party of five, though ordering from the regular menu was much better. One of the best parts of the week was Irvin’s personal service. He was engaging, fun, and attentive. We also had lunch at Lemon Grass on 2/15. Carlos Santana took great care of us, always attentive and cheerful. Orlando has a great team! ☆☆☆☆☆

The beach was a real highlight, with plenty of chairs available, though about 20% of the chairs and beds cost extra. Dining takes a little planning since there aren’t many restaurants at this resort itself, and going to the sister property for more choices isn’t really my thing. One evening, the beach restaurant hostess gave us a 45-minute wait estimate, which we were fine with, but after more than an hour and watching later arrivals get seated, I checked and found she’d forgotten us. That rubbed me the wrong way. Everything else was so good that I got over it quickly. This was our second visit, and it was even better than the first. We got there around 10 a.m. and expected to pay for breakfast until our all-inclusive stay began, but after my husband checked on the room, they gave us our bracelets right away. The place is gorgeous, easy to get around, and kept in immaculate shape. The restaurants are lovely, the staff make you feel like royalty, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, with big balconies. We had a few little snags, but I’d still say this resort is a must-visit.

There are lots of dining spots here, and my favorites were OMAGIO for breakfast and dinner and MOZZA MARE by the beach for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. LEMON GRASS by the pool is a good lunch option too. The new outdoor Italian place, FRESCO, serves excellent pizza 🍕 and pasta for dinner. For a special experience, CAPRICCIO is the private VIP BEACH CLUB, where they treat you like royalty. INSU has drinks and dinner upstairs with spectacular sunset 🌅 views, while BRUNELLO in the main lobby is a nice place to relax with a drink before or after dinner. At the beach spots MOZZA MARE and CAPRICCIO, Edgar, Victor, Ruben, and ABDI, along with others, gave us royal treatment. Charly was great at the CAPRICCIO VIP BAR. Marival Distinct is a true 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all-inclusive resort. The staff are friendly, helpful, and polite from arrival to departure, and they work hard to make the stay memorable. I highly recommend it. It’s one of the best resorts in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit Mexico.
